WCWCC 6th Annual Down In The Deltas Promo

ORWOOD RESORT:
The California Deltas… a great place to explore over 1200 miles of pristine waterways. Our club visits Orwood Resort a Camping and RV Resort right on the Delta, at least 4 times a year. This amazing trip is a great time to explore uncharted waterways with many destinations. Our destinations include The Golden Gate Bridge, Napa Valley, Stockton and Sacramento. In order to achieve this we have at least 3 fuel stops to make these destinations. Each ride has a group meeting discussing the destination and ride plan. Upon leaving Orwood there is a leader and a sweeper, so no one gets lost. We use VHF radio communications and we always regroup around 7 miles. You can get seriously lost here and we always want to make sure every rider is safe and accounted for. Upon arriving at our destination, we all tie up our watercraft’s and have lunch… a great time to talk and stretch our limbs. On the way back its WOT, well most of us as we have 65 miles back to Orwood. Sometimes we pick a different route back to make the ride more exciting arriving back before sundown.
